At Bonsai Cha, quality takes time. Every order is prepared with care, and in some cases produced and shipped directly from Japan. Please allow up to 3 weeks for production and delivery.


1. Processing Time

  • Standard orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days.

  • Bulk/wholesale orders or special-grade matcha may require additional production lead time before shipping.

  • If there is a significant delay, we’ll contact you directly.


2. Shipping Methods & Lead Times

  • Standard Retail Orders (Canada & U.S. – UPS):

    • Usually delivered in 5–7 business days once shipped.

    • Limited stock held in Canada ships faster at standard UPS rates.

  • Bulk & Wholesale Orders (DHL Express – Direct from Japan):

    • Allow up to 3 weeks total (production + transit); during peak periods this timeline may be extended.

    • Typical DHL delivery is 5–10 business days after dispatch.


3. Shipping Locations

  • We ship to addresses in Canada and the U.S.

  • International orders outside these regions: Please contact info@bonsaicha.com for special arrangements.


4. Shipment Confirmation & Tracking

You’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking once your order ships. Tracking becomes active within 24 hours.


5. Customs, Duties & Taxes

  • Bonsai Cha is not responsible for customs fees, duties, or taxes.

  • Customers are responsible for any charges applied during or after shipping.


6. Damages & Lost Packages

  • Bonsai Cha is not liable for products damaged or lost in transit.

  • If damage occurs, file a claim directly with the carrier. Keep all packaging and product materials to support your claim.
